Lorenzo's Everest Expedition 2005 & 2006

Durante l'Aprile e Maggio 2005, Lorenzo Gariano, uomo di avventura cosmopolita, ha fatto parte della spedizione di Alex Abramov della Russia e Harry Kikstra, dal versante Nord dell'Everest. I visitatori del web erano in grado di di seguire il suo progresso sulla montagna attraverso I suoi audio blog e posizionamenti GPS.

Everest e'chiamato Chomolungma "Madre Dea della Terra" in Tibetano e Sagarmatha in Nepalese. E' stata ribattezzata Everest da Sir George Everest, il primo Surveyor generale dell'India.

Lorenzo ritornera' nelle Himalaya con il 7summitsclub nell' Aprile del 2006 per riprovare la vetta dell'Everest. Ancora una volta lascera' messaggi audio e si spera anche immagini che compariranno sulla pagina degli audio blog.
